Inspiring Passageways for Christ
Explore the Catholic Passage Mission
Catholic Passage supports parents and educators as they pass on the Catholic faith and way of life to their children and students. We offer collaborative in-person events such as mini-retreats and presentations, as well as a number of online resources, including interviews and other video content, multiple podcasts, a free quarterly newsletter, education projects, and more! We hope that through our in-person and online digital media services, we might support and guide adults to be the good difference in the lives of the children around them.

Catholic Passage Exists for You
There are many wonderful Catholic educational and informational resources geared for parents and educators. These resources are readily accessible online and are often free. What they may lack, Catholic Passage offers, in personalized engagement in the context of the local human community. While we might help educators or parents utilize these resources, we are personally and physically present to help them engage the topic at hand, as well as their own growth in holiness. It is within the context of the local community that adults’ specific needs and desires can be engaged, commitment strengthened, and living their faith supported.
Catholic Passage is founded on the belief that each baptized person can witness to the presence of Jesus through his or her life of discipleship. Therefore, Catholic Passage seeks to raise up and highlight the Catholic witness of the lay faithful in our local communities so they can “encourage one another and build up each other” (Thessalonians 5:11). By the lay faithful’s witness of faith and life, they will pass on Christ to their children and children’s children. For Christ is the passage to the Father’s house and the fullness of divine life. He is the light of the world Catholic Passage desires to help parents and educators share.
What’s in a Logo?

As Catholic Passage has continued to grow, expand its services, and deepen its mission, it became clear that an updated brand identity was needed to reflect this progress. Reaching wider audiences across larger platforms, the refreshed brand now offers a clear and versatile visual identity, supporting current outreach, while preparing Catholic Passage for continued growth in the years ahead.
Life is like a raindrop that falls from the sky to a lake and creates a small ripple. The ripple’s impact reverberates beyond the point of contact. We each have a certain amount of time, number of heartbeats, and opportunities on this earth. And what we do with our lives will impact – in some way – others, including people who come after us. Our lives are like the raindrop that impresses upon the surface of the lake. The effects that come from the impact of our lives are the ripples that follow us.
Through the impacts of our lives, God desires to bless us and the children who look up to us. Christ wants our impact to ripple into eternity. The ripple of water in the Catholic Passage logo represents three realities: the waters of one’s baptism into Christ, the energizing effect of the Holy Spirit filling the Christian soul, and the Christian’s reverberating impact in the world.
Through baptism, the Christian receives the Holy Spirit who, like a dove descending from heaven, fills the soul and imprints the life of Christ upon the baptized. In the Catholic Passage logo, the dove’s tail and wings also resemble rising flames. This guides us to recall the power of the Spirit and that Christ is the light of the world (John 8:12). Heeding his call and following his teaching, we also rise as light in the world and reveal God the Father by our good deeds (Matthew 5:14-16).
The archway in the logo points to Catholic Passage’s mission to inspire passageways for Christ. Christ is the way to the Father, and he is also the way the Father shows us his love. Every person is called and has a unique gift to share Christ with others, especially to young people. Living in Christ and animated by the Holy Spirit, adults become passageways through whom God shares his blessing with young people. Being one with Christ, they become open doors through which young people come to know and love God.
Every ray of light illuminates, and together, their brightness fills our world. No gesture, attempt, or decision is too small for God’s glory. Rather, the Holy Spirit works in all the small ways adults try to help young people. We can become the passageways through whom Jesus shines his presence upon the world. This is why the logo has radiating rays of light coming from the passageway.
A small ripple from one raindrop seems inconsequential. But with God, the blessing packed into the smallness of our lives can create a tsunami of grace in someone else’s life. Just think of how many raindrops can change a desert into an oasis. So too, Catholic men and women can join “the great cloud of witnesses” as conduits of the Father’s blessing to all those who look to them for life and guidance (Hebrews 12:1). In this spirit, we “encourage one another and build one another up” (Thessalonians 5:11).
“Radiating Christ”
by St. John Henry Newman
Dear Jesus,
Help us to spread Your fragrance everywhere we go.
Flood our souls with Your Spirit and Life.
Penetrate and possess our whole being so utterly
that our lives may only be a radiance of Yours.
Shine through us and be so in us
that every soul we come in contact with
may feel Your presence in our souls.
Let them look up, and see no longer us, but only Jesus!
Stay with us, and then we shall begin to shine as You shine,
so to shine as to be a light to others.
The light, O Jesus, will be all from You; none of it will be ours.
It will be You, shining on others through us.
Let us thus praise You in the way You love best, by shining on those around us.
Let us preach You without preaching, not by words but by example,
by the catching force, the sympathetic influence of what we do,
the evident fullness of the love our hearts bear for You.
Amen.
